illustrator tutorial 1

I started this tutorial by creating a 5 in by 5 in canvas. To make this logo I started by adding text, separately I added my initials, first A and then T. Next, I used the animal patterns under the fill to create a peacock patterns. I also added a 1pt stroke in black. Then, I used the rectangle tool, rounded the edges and sent it to the back. I also added stars on the logo and used the direct selection tool to stretch out some of the stars. Lastly, I used the eraser tool to make space between the letters on the rounded rectangle.
